I am an organizer... Teacher by trade, busy mom, agricultural lover, and inspired business owner...
How did I get here? Looking at options other than being an Ag Teacher full time (my career for 8-years), with three little ones at home, my dreams of owning my own horse business came into light, however, that was getting harder and harder to reach while juggling part time work, building a business, and being a full time mom. So why not build two businesses, crazy, right? One area of need I keep being remind of, as I teach Agriculture Business at the collegiate level, is it seems everyone I encounter lately, especially in agriculture, owns and/or runs some form of their own business. This is GREAT, however, lack of accounting and/or financing skills, software, and training, leaves these business owners at the hands of an accountant for advise and tax preparation. Not a bad idea, but may not be budget friendly, they don't always specialize in agriculture, small business, nor have time or skills to train you. Let me organize your small business and train you how to manage it. You may choose to keep me on board as a consultant for a continuous partnership or advise, tax preparation, payroll, or, if you prefer less office work altogether, I can organize your business and completely take over the paper trail end of things.
